The Military Helpline and Lines for Life are always looking for committed volunteers of all ages. Bring your experience and interests to one of our program areas, and make a positive difference in someone’s life. Here are some of the areas you can help:
Military Helpline: Help veterans and their families overcome struggles with access to healthcare, housing, employment, post traumatic stress and thoughts of suicide.
Crisis Lines – Suicide Prevention: Enroll in our Alcohol and Drug Helpline/Suicide Lifeline training program; learn to answer calls on our 24-hour confidential crisis lines.
We hold volunteer orientations the third Tuesday of the month at noon, and the third Wednesday of the month at 6 pm.
For more info about the Military Helpline, please call 971.244.1368 or email Matt Koslowski. For more info about volunteering on the Crisis Lines, please call 971.244.2419 or email Tracy Reilly.
